Our Partners

Teaming up with many partners to accomplish our mission…

Teaming with REI Adventures enables us to focus our volunteer staff on activities where we have special skills. Both Conservation Volunteers International Program and REI Adventures are committed to protecting great landscapes and engaging others to make a difference. REI Adventures markets many of our volunteer trips and handles the logistics of customer service for those trips. Conservation Volunteers International Program selects and organizes the volunteer work and leads the volunteer trips. Together our passion makes significant and lasting changes toward preserving our international treasures!

In each of our destinations, our partners include the local land managers who help us identify and plan projects and grant us access to the sites. We also work with key local partners for the many support services necessary to have a successful volunteer trip.

In Machu Picchu Sanctuary in Peru

ConservationVIP® coordinates with Instituto Nacional de Cultura (INC) and the Servicio Nacional de Areas Naturales Protegidas por El Estato (SERNANP), the two Peruvian ministries responsible for Machu Picchu Sanctuary.

In the Scottish Highlands

We partner with Trees for Life, a local nonprofit dedicated to rewilding the Scottish Highlands. Check out our Scottish Highlands Volunteer Trip!

In Torres del Paine National Park in Patagonia

ConservationVIP works with Corporacion Nacional Forestal (CONAF), the Chilean agency responsible for managing the Park. We partner with the local nonprofit Agrupacion Medio Ambiental (AMA), when we are working on the hiking trails within the Park boundaries which cross land owned by AMA’s sponsor.

Torres del Paine Legacy Fund logo We also partner with Torres del Paine Legacy Fund, a travel philanthropy fund which works to enhance both the visitor experience and the long-term health of the park and its surrounding communities.

In Yosemite National Park, Alaska, and Virgin Islands National Park

Conservation Volunteers International Program partners with the National Park Service to determine the volunteer project work which will most benefit the Park and to carry out the volunteer work. In Virgin Islands we also partner with Friends of the Virgin Islands.
