Every year since 2008, participants on ConservationVIP’s Patagonia Volunteer Trips have contributed many hours of labor to improve trails in Torres del Paine National Park. We are now constructing a NEW trail to the base of The Towers in this amazing park. The existing trail is too steep, heavily eroded, and lacks proper drainage. Our NEW hiking trail will be sustainable, help protect the fragile landscape, flora and fauna near this trail, and much safer for visitors.
Yes! A NEW trail up to very OLD rocks (12 million years old…) This very ambitious project requires trail construction experts and construction of new river crossings which is why we are asking for your donations.
